Our mission is to create an outlet for children of all ages to passionately engage with the sciences through the medium of fun, interactive experiments.
At this time I would like to formally thank all the members
Of TEACH. Your first visit to our Pediatric Unit on November 3, 2017 was an incredible success. I was so very happy to meet you all and even more impressed at how prepared your TEACH group was for this hospital visit. We had been expecting a Lava Lamp experiment/ activity but also got an awesome Salt Painting activity/experiment as well. The children were so very excited, happy and engaged at
every turn. The activity was fun, entertaining, hands-on and above all, a science learning lesson! The kids got to have fun, create something and learn at the same time. I am so very excited for our next visit which I hope to schedule soon. I am glad that I decided to go with your group and hope to have a continued visiting schedule with TEACH to our hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
Thank you so very much for your awesome visit. Thank you so much more for making hospitalized children so engaged in science.Vivian Alestra Child Life Specialist Dept. of Pediatrics Staten Island University
